The Venue

St Peter's by the Waterfront; an arts and heritage centre in the heart of Ipswich.

St Peter's by the Waterfront is an arts and heritage centre in a medieval mariners church by the historic waterfront of Ipswich. In an area which is regenerating for the 21st Century St Peter's provides a venue for live music, theatre and exhibitions as well a being a home to a number of local music organisations for rehearsal and concert space.

St Peter's is also open to the public throughout the year with displays about the history of Ipswich and is the home to the Ipswich Charter Hangings, a set of 8 hand-made panels depicting the history of Ipswich made by local students to mark the 800 years of the charter given to Ipswich by King John in 1200.

Check out the main stpetersbythewaterfront.com site for details about all events coming up at St Peter's.
